A enormous part of our lifes we live for death. Large quatities of our individual and societal energies are spent on it. Trying to postpone it – in the form of medicine and treatments, trying to indirectly overcome it – by having families, pasing down our genes, vocational and artistic achievements. Ignore it – by escapist entertainment, drinking, t.v. etc.Or even kid ourselves into ‘categorising’ it, by turning it into a activity – like funeral and rememberance services. But this is what Christ did: He over came death, totally distroyed it and took the key of hades. The Lord of life and death.
